Experience one of the largest animal shows in Denmark. More the 1.500 animals are hoping for prizes. All the animals are brought to Roskilde for the same reason – participating in competitions, being assessed by judges and winning trophies.
In 2017: 270 dairy cows and 265 beef cattle in various races were attending. Also 175 rabbits, 100 poultry, 40 sheeps and 26 goats were competing.
The animals represented at Roskilde Dyrskue is selected as the best animals from the farms in Zealand.
In the arenas the breeders present their animals for the judges. The judges gives points for various parameters that differs from race to race. The best animals are rewarded with a red rosette.
